Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher
from:You have decided you do want to take reiki, but aren't sure which system or where to go for information. There are a number of systems available, and really, it is a matter of deciding what you think would suit your purposes. For instance if you think you would like to pursue usui Tibetan reiki, then you would likely want to be taught by a Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher.
If you have done your homework and know a bit about the differences in the reiki systems, when you start looking for a Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher you will have a very good idea of the kinds of questions you will want to ask your Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher.
The Tibetan reiki Practices were incorporated into Usui Reiki and renamed Raku Kai Reiki. So you may want to discuss with your Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher what techniques you will be learning. For instance there is the Breath of the Fire Dragon, the Microcosmic Orbit called the Hui Yin, the White Light Symbol from the Johrei Religion, and the Antahkarana Symbol.
There are some differences of opinion as to what was added further to the above symbols, but your Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher will be able to tell you others added in reiki Guides and Guide meditations. You will also like deal with the symbols of Raku, Tibetan Master Symbol, and the Fire Serpent. The Usui Tibetan Tradition has been popularized by William Rand and Diane Stein and of course both of them are Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher(s) among other things.
The Usui / Tibetan Schools will often have a level IIIa that means they are teaching four levels rather than the traditional three in Western Usui Shiki Ryoho. The fourth level, and you can get more information on this from your Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher, is usually considered to be a personal mastery level. For this level you are taught several new age techniques including reiki crystal grids, healing attunements, the Antahkarana symbol and meditations, reiki guide work etc.
You may also have some other pointed questions for your teacher as well. For instance in most cases those who practice reiki are BEING reiki, in the moment, intuitive and going with the flow of what feels right, what the universal life force energy tells us. It is without control and no expectations. By adding in guides, crystals and other things that exert external control, aren't we messing with the flow and intent of universal life force energy? Just a question you may want to ask. The amount of time you spend with reiki and learning and using the symbols will make an enormous difference in how skilled you are as a practitioner. As the old saying goes, "Practice makes perfect!"
